Named after her mother, Caroline Bishop was born a few years after her older brother, Beau, in New York. Almost immediately, the young girl was spoiled by her big brother and she grew attached to him from a very early age. Caroline was, aside from this, largely indepdendent and more than able to fend for herself. Like with her big brother, Caroline's father, Charles, taught her basic self-defense and refused to let his daughter be someone who was unable to fend for herself if it was necessary to do so. The extent of her teachings and knowledge was nowhere near the extent of her brother's -- largely because Caroline wasn't quite as interested in the training/tactics as he was -- but she was able to hold her own for long enough. Her childhood was mostly as normal as it could be given the circumstances and sometimes rigid and structured way of life. The said structure and circumstances made her, not as steadfast and reliable as her father, but someone reliable and often timely.

Her childhood was a happy and easy one and there was little that Caroline could nitpick or be upset over, except for those times when Beau was gone and she found herself bored and without her typical partner-in-crime. Caroline had plenty of friends and other people to spend time with but Beau was, by far, her favorite whenever she was given the chance. When he moved out and away, she was forced to adjust to being the only child at home and losing the person who mwant the most to her in the world. She adjusted and kept herself busy by being heavily involved in school as well as work in the community. It was something that felt natural to her and made her feel happier when she was doing it. Giving back and making a difference was easy for her. Helping people was simple. She stayed attached to her brother, even when he was off doing his own thing and finding himself, following in the path of their father with his own life choices.

That need to help people shaped the line of work she decided to go into post-high school. She ended up in the medical field. Though she wasn't willing to become a doctor, she did finish school for nursing, and furth shaped her field by focusing on education. Her love of people, especially children, made this a natural choice for Caroline. And, as sad as the job could -- and can-- be at times, nothing made her happier than helping out children and their families. Her life was stable, happy, and seemingly eas -- for the most part. She managed to find a balance between work and her personal life, settling into a rhythm and routine that made sense for her and was a key to her happiness. Caroline was always an easygoing person who made friends easily, adjusted to change, and had a quick-witted pesonality. While she was kind, she never allowed that kindness to be made into a weakness.

The happy and stable life didn't last for long. Barely into her twenties, Caroline a simple trip with her parents resulted in a tragic accident and the deaths of her parents. She was in the hospital for some time after, with a long road to recover that followed. Adding to that, her beloved brother Beau, who was already living his own life, seemingly disappeared when she needed his comfort and support the most. Caroline was barely able to deal with all of the changes and the magnitude of the aftermath of the accident. Needing to distance herself, she moved from New York to Boston and has since settled there as she tries to rebuild her life and herself over the past few years. She's finished her education and continues to give back to others, perhaps throwing herself into it even more than before, by continuing her work in hospitals and with childrens' charities throughout Boston.

Since the accident and her brother's departure from her life, Caroline has struggled to get her life entirely on-track. Her brother's reappearance means trying to put her own feelings aside and rebuild their relationship, even if forgiveness has been difficult for her to manage. Beau is still her number one and favorite person in the world and there wasn't and isn't a thing she wouldn't do for him while the both of them attempt to recover from their personal traumas. She is still a person who is very sociable, occasionally a little ditzy, but an all-around good friend who may be a little closed off, but is looking to find herself once again.
